Idea Catcher

Answer six quick questions about your own setup. You'll get the phone shortcut step by step, a build plan or a paste-in prompt depending on whether you run n8n, and the briefing that turns one video into a working title, the reader's question, where it came from, and what complicates it.

1What do you want to catch?
This sets which links get through and which ones end the run for free.
2Do you run n8n?
No n8n is a fine answer. You'll get a version that needs nothing hosted.
3Where should ideas land?
Pick the place you already open. An idea filed somewhere you never look is the same as no idea.
4Should it check what you've already published?
Catching an overlap at capture costs a lot less than catching it 600 words in.
This goes into the briefing word for word, so the brief knows who it's for. Plain words beat a tagline.
6What do you want back?
The prompt works in any chat. The skill is a file Claude Code loads on its own.

  • What complicates itAn empty drawer only works if somebody empties it again, and the video skips who does that and how often.
The failure that never throws. On a silent video, the kind that's text on screen with trending audio, the transcript service answers with a 206 and a transcript-unavailable body. A 206 is a 2xx, so nothing errors out and the run carries on with an empty transcript. The brief has to fall back to the caption and say so, instead of filing a blank.
